Harlem RBI provides inner-city youth with opportunities to Play, Learn and Grow. We use the power of teams to coach, teach and inspire youth to recognize their potential and realize their dreams.
The Brotherhood/Sister Sol was founded in 1995 and provides comprehensive, holistic and long-term support services to youth who range in age from eight to twenty-two. The organization focuses on issues such as leadership development and educational achievement, sexual responsibility, sexism and misogyny, political education and social justice, Pan-African and Latino history, and global awareness.
Community Voices Heard (CVH) is a member-led multi-racial organization, principally women of color and low-income families in New York State that builds power to secure social, economic and racial justice for all. They accomplish this through grassroots organizing, leadership development, policy changes, and creating new models of direct democracy.
Cultivating Our Sisterhood International Association Inc. (COSIA) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization whose mission is to cultivate a sense of sisterhood among women and to enhance the lives of those whom they support. Their founder had a dream about five letters (COSIA) that evolved into a charge to bring diverse groups of women together for volunteering, fundraising, personal enrichment, and professional development. Their simple yet powerful motto is: One plants, another waters, but God gives the increase.
