Are you interested in serving on the board of a nonprofit arts organization? If you are, we hope you will join us for a special board matching event that features only arts and cultural institutions.
New York City’s cultural offerings are among the best in the world. From major symphonies, to small ensembles who create new music with experimental technologies; from Broadway to off-off-off; from Lincoln Center to black box theaters in former warehouses; the landscape offers something for everyone. While major arts institutions have large boards of directors, most small to mid-sized nonprofits struggle to find board members.
Governance Matters works with many of New York’s arts organization to help them find new board members.
On May 30th, we are hosting an event for nonprofits in music, dance, theater and more, so that these organizations can meet prospective board members in one place, at one time. Please join us, so that you can make the connection and start on the board of an organization whose art inspires you.
This is free and open to all — no board experience is necessary, everyone from young professionals to retirees.
