The Community Foundation of Herkimer & Oneida Counties invites nonprofit staff and board members to attend a free training workshop titled “Financial Accountability: Treasurer, Finance Committee & Staff Partnership” presented by Kelly Mathews, Chief Operating Officer, Senior Vice President, Financial Management Group, NYCON.
Registration and continental breakfast at 8:30 a.m., presentation from 9 a.m. to noon. Registration is required as seating is limited.
Treasurers, finance committee members, and finance staff are invited to attend this workshop on how financial data and infrastructure work together to support a nonprofit’s mission. These parties must work together to not only create policies and procedures, but implement and monitor them to achieve fiscal success. The presentation will focus on identifying roles, responsibilities, and strategies to strengthen this crucial partnership.
Each presentation will also include an update on changes to The Foundation’s grantmaking process and timeline.
